Such animals who live here are the lions and cheetahs. Beware though however you may come across some animals who are feeding among other animals. If you do not have a good stomach then you will want to be very careful at the sights that you might come across when enjoying a safari ride.

You will want to check out the ruins that are located in the area of Kilwa and Songo. In these locations are the ruins that are protected by the Tanzanian Government who protects these ruins. The ruins of Kilwa Kisiwani was said to be the most beautiful in between the centuries of 13 and 14. It was described as one of the most beautiful cities in the world during this time. When visiting this location you will be able to see the ruins that contain a palace and many other areas.

The Songo Mnara islands are not quite as large as the other ruins but still holds some buildings that are quite ancient. The Songo Mnara ruins only house 5 mosques with a couple of buildings that were used. There have also been some pearls of glass and quartz that have been found here as well. These ancient ruins will make your trip remarkable and make good photo opportunities for pictures to take back to friends and family in your hometown.
